On behalf of Principal Sarah Harvey, Newberry High School, and the Newberry High School JROTC Program, we cordially invite you to join us for our September 11 Remembrance Ceremony as we honor the lives lost, recognize the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes, and reflect upon the unity and resilience demonstrated by Americans following the attacks of September 11, 2001.
Please join us as we come together to honor the victims, recognize the heroes and reflect on the unity and relilience that followed a day that changed our nation forever.

The ceremony will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 8:46 a.m. in front of the flagpole at Newberry High School. The time of 8:46 a.m. holds special significance, marking the moment American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
Our JROTC cadets are honored to host this solemn observance, and it would be our privilege to have you join our students, faculty, staff, and community as we pause to remember those whose lives were forever changed on that day.
