Attention MCHS Seniors!!!! 2022 Graduation Practice & Graduation Updates/Reminders
Graduation practice will be held at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, May 31st, in the Mid-Carolina High School Gym. It is mandatory that all graduating Seniors be present for practice. Each senior will receive two passes that will allow a total of 15 guests to attend the ceremony at Lon Armstrong Stadium (football field). One pass will allow a total of 7 guests to enter and the other pass will allow a total of 8 guests to enter. Graduation admittance passes will be given to Seniors directly after practice is concluded on May 31st. Also, the MCHS yearbook will take an official class of 2022 picture at 9:00 AM. Seniors please bring your cap and gown to practice and please be on time!!!
The MCHS Graduation Ceremony will be held on June 1st at 8:30 AM at Lon Armstrong Football Stadium. All Seniors are to meet in the Mid-Carolina High School gym no later than 7:00 AM on June 1st. Pass holders and guests will be allowed to enter the football stadium parking lot at 7:15 AM. Attendees will be required to enter the parking lot using only the entrance closet to the Football field. Attendees will be required to enter together with the pass holder at graduation. (Allowable capacity includes infants & small children). The entrance gate will be locked at 8:15 AM. No one will be allowed to enter the stadium after that time so please be on time.
June 1st is a regular school day and all Newberry County schools will be operating on a Half Day schedule. Parking will be limited and traffic may cause delays for attendees. To limit the amount of traffic on June 1st attendees are asked to carpool in order to reduce the number of vehicles entering and exiting the parking lot at the Mid-Carolina Middle School campus. No individual or group photos will be allowed on the Football Field at the conclusion of the graduation ceremony to avoid interference with Middle School student dismissal on June 1st. Graduates and guests will be allowed to take pictures at the Mid-Carolina High School Track and Field Facility from 10:00-11:00 AM after the graduation ceremony has ended.

- The 2022 MCHS Graduation Ceremony Will Be Broadcast Live Again This Year - The NCSD will broadcast graduation on YouTube so that individuals who do not have tickets can watch graduation live from any location with internet access. Please click here to view the Graduation live stream on https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEjlMiqioa_BqC8YS2sOYqQ After graduation, the video will be saved to YouTube so our graduates, family, and friends can view at their convenience. Please remember that graduation is a live event. Due to this event being streamed in real time there is the potential for complications to occur during the broadcast. The NCSD Technology Department will work to correct any complications as quickly as possible.
- REMINDER: Seniors' Future Plans Survey – DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL WEDNESDAY, MAY 25th. Seniors you will not be allowed to enter Graduation Practice until this survey is complete. Seniors, please fill out this short survey about your plans after graduation as part of your graduation checklist.
