JROTC Military Ball

On Saturday, April 30,  the Mid-Carolina High School JROTC held their annual JROTC Military Ball.  This formal event requires Cadets to wear formal service dress and guests to wear formal attire.  The Military Ball presents certain rules, procedures, and protocol to be observed.  Cadets demonstrate the lessons they learned in proper manners and etiquette in a social setting.  Learning proper social conduct is an important part of the Cadets' growth and character development. The Military Ball consists of a reception hour, receiving line, dinner, recognition of the senior Cadets, crowning of the Ball King and Queen, and a dance portion.  This year, William Barnes was crowned the King of the Ball and Cinthya Beltran-Cruz was crowned Queen of the Ball.
