The Human Library for Fall 2025 was held in the library media center on October 17. Over 30 career professionals came in for the day to talk to students about their future careers. Senior Kaneiah R. said, "I really enjoyed talking to the people, this activity helped actually decide what I want to do after high school. I think this is a helpful activity that the school should have every year, to help students decide what they would like to do after their high school career. I really appreciate the school for doing this."
Rachel Banks, Community Outreach Coordinator for the Newberry County Public Library, and Jennifer Moore, our District Career Development Coordinator, put on this event with Ms. Felker. Students had the opportunity to "check out" a person whose career they were interested in. Special thanks to Moore Brothers Construction for sponsoring our honored guests' lunch and to the Newberry County Public Library for sponsoring the Amazon gift card for the students' exit slips drawing. What a great day of making community connections!

Congratulations to Jessica Juarez! She is the winner of the $25 Amazon gift card, sponsored by the Newberry County Public Library. Jessica's exit slip was drawn from over 200 entries from our Human Library Career Day!
